facilitators

ALPs employs and trains UW-Madison students to work as group facilitators. Facilitators come from a wide range of academic and personal backgrounds and bring insight, creativity and diverse experiences to each of their workshops. ALPs provides its staff with extensive training in facilitation, technical skills, teambuilding and group dynamics. ALPs requires staff members to attend numerous training sessions throughout the year, where they are able to continually expand their knowledge of experiential education. By participating in these training sessions, staff not only develop invaluable skills, but also gain personal insight and reflect upon their role as facilitators.
